What’s the best place in NYC to have a small holiday party for my office (8-10 people)?

I have to organize a small holiday outing for my office (8-10 folks). We just want to have some general socializing, drinks and dinner (preferably Indian, or pan-Asian). Any ideas? I need to make reservations before December…

Asia de Cuba might be nice - you can either sit at the long table or get a nice booth to yourselves.

Xing on 9th Avenue is great, although I don’t know if they have space for big parties (I’ve been there, just don’t remember)

If you want to go downtown, check out Fatty Crab.

Is Ruby Foo’s too touristy?

For Indian - all of the Baluchi’s are good, and they have good menu options for people who are not used to Indian food. Their drinks can be somewhat limited.
