What is the cheapest and coolest place to vacation in Asia?
I’ve always dreamed of vacationing in Japan, but it is too expensive! So, I would like to know what Asian cities are the cheapest to spend about 10 days in? But wait, there’s one more thing… *I DO NOT LIKE HOT CLIMATES* So, Cambodia and Thailand are not options. I prefer cooler weather in the 60-75 degree area. What do you suggest??

according to me the best places in Asia for tourists are Malaysia and Singapore. These are the cheapest and the finest places for the tourists. for more information regarding the expenses and attractions you can look up for travel resources.
With 10 days in hand, and not wanting hot places, go vacactioning in Cameron Highlands in Malaysia (3 days), then travel to Frasers Hill (3 days) and Genting Highlands ( 2 days). After that, book an Air Asia flight (budget airline) to either Bandung Indonesia or Chiengmai in northern Thailand (4 days).
All these places mentioned above are hill resorts with interesting activities, flora and fauna. Travelling in these countries are quite cheap.
You probably need only US$1500.
Well that rules out SE Asia for you.
You could try China, or perhaps even Mongolia. Mongolia in summer is beautiful with temperatures around 59-72F.
You could easily spend very little in Mongolia, with beds from just $6 a night. 4 days in the capital and 6 in the countryside would be a great way to see the country.
This’d also give you the chance to see Beijing, as the easiest way into Mongolia is via train from Beijing which only takes 36 hours. You get to meet a great bunch of travellers and Mongolian and Chinese natives that’d be willing to talk to you and teach you about their customs.
Go for something different, go for Mongolia!
There are 2 cities in the Philippines that are cold and with tourist sites! Try Baguio City or Tagaytay City!
There is nowhere in se asia you could go to without experiencing hot or muggy climates. Including Malaysia and Singapore. I can only think of Northern China, Mongolia snd South Korea but they wouldnt be the cheapest. Sorry mate but you’ve practically cut all your options away so i suggest to deal with the climate like everyone else.
I spent about $3000 on a month vacation in the Philippines. Depends what your budget is.
