Is there a web site which shows all direct flights FROM Shanghai?
In China and looking to go on holiday but dont want to go to the usual places and dont want to waste time transiting. Every time I talk to travel agents they give me the same places (Hong Kong/Bangkok) thus I would like to find a list of all destinations which have a direct connection with Shanghai. Asian destinations are preferred due to proximity.

Go to http://www.flightstats.com and you can search any airport in te world, it will tel you all incoming and outgoing flights, and whether they’re on schedule or not.

Honestly if you go to shanghai you will have to stay in normal “tourist” hotels. I tried to be cheaper and stay in cheap motels and none of them would take me, because i wasn’t chinese. That was their exact words. There is some weird law in china where if they don’t have english speakers they can’t take you or somethin. I speak fluent chinese and never asked for a translator but they didnt’ listen to what i had to say. I searched 12 different hotels until one took me. I felt discriminated :(
